CHILDREN’S CLASS FAQ
What do I need to bring?
Please ensure your child is wearing clothing suitable for physical activity including a pair of trainers. Please also bring a water bottle and ensure that long hair is tied back and jewellery removed or covered.
Do I have to stay during the session?
We ask for a parent (or a nominated adult) to stay for the INFANT session. There is plenty of seating available at the venue. Parents do not have to stay for the Junior session if they do not wish. Please make it clear to the instructor who will be collecting your child and, if necessary, leave a password.
What if I book and then can’t make the session?
If you are able to notify the instructor 24 hours before the class, then where possible your session can be transferred to the following week. Notice is needed in order to be able to fill your space with another participant.
What if I haven’t booked?
Booking for each class closes the evening before the session – this is so that activities can be planned according to ages, ratios and number of participants etc. Where spaces are available there is the option of attending and paying on the day however this will be at a higher rate of £6 and needs to be pre agreed with the instructor. In the event of a class being full you can message Youthercise and ask to be placed on a waiting list.
Do you offer free taster session?
Unfortunately, due to flexible nature of PAYG we do not offer free taster sessions. However, you are more than welcome to come along and watch a session to see if it is something you feel you child would like.
ADULTS CLASS FAQ
What do I need to bring?
Please ensure that you are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear to take part in an exercise class. You will also need to bring some water with you.
Do I need to book?
No, all session are PAYG at £5. There is the option of booking multiple sessions online via the booking site. If you book 5 or more sessions then you get 10% applied at checkout. Don’t worry if you never have cash on you. A card reader is available for contactless payments at every class.
Can I park?
Yes, there are car parks at all venues.
What if book in advance and can’t make it?

What if I can’t dance?
The best thing about BEATZ is it really is for everyone. The routines are fun and easy to follow and as long as you are moving you will burn those calories. At a BEATZ class you really will find all ages, dance abilities and fitness abilities.
